Avabel and the Kingdom of Elytha was created and written as a family project during Alexander Prezioso's military deployment overseas. The book was a special way for he and his family to keep busy and feel connected during his time away from home.
The idea for the story was first conceptualized during their son Brayden's writing workshop at his elementary school where he wrote a short story about a Princess kidnapped by an evil dragon. Brayden originally based the characters on himself, his brother Landon, and his sister Avery.
